I'm a coward. I run the halls of congress when reporters ask the obvious questions. I've lost the respect of my colleagues. I've helped turn the GOP into the joke that it is. We're not Republicans, we're criminals. Adulterers. Power hungry narcissists. And I, Kevin McCarthy, have stood by and allowed all of it to happen. Why? I told you...I'm a coward. You want this party to advance? Not while I'm around. You want this party to live each day by their principles? Not while I'm around. Russia owns us. Read that out loud. Russia. Owns. Us.

THE TIMELINE

In January of 2015, Charles C. Johnson, a conservative blogger and provocateur known for trafficking in "whoa if true" quasi-news, posted a story to his website GotNews "breaking" the "story" (if, indeed, the story is true).

Sometime after that, rumors of the affair became widespread on Capitol Hill and became part of the general backdrop of congressional gossip.

Then on September 25, John Boehner unexpectedly announced his intention to resign as speaker and swiftly tapped McCarthy as his chosen successor.

The House GOP caucus was supposed to take a vote on its leadership candidates on October 8.

On October 7, GOP Rep. Walter Jones sent a cryptic letter to fellow Republicans calling on any members of Congress guilty of "misdeeds" to step aside and making reference to former Rep. Bob Livingston, who back in 1999 was forced to abandon the House GOP leadership in the wake of the revelation of an affair.

Later that day, Ellmers's attorneys sent a cease-and-desist letter to GotNews, calling the allegations of an affair both "false" and "defamatory."

Then, just before 8 am on the morning of October 8, Steve Baer, an influential conservative donor and activist known for his ties to the right wing of the party, sent an email to McCarthy, Ellmers, and others threatening to expose the alleged affair.

Hours later, McCarthy unexpectedly withdrew from the race, the leadership elections were canceled, and the caucus was thrown into chaos.

At the age of 5, Kevin had his first friend. An imaginary friend named, Buster. Buster taught him how to be a dishonest two-faced coward. Kevin later strangled Buster because Buster was going to rat Kevin out for being a coward.

KEVIN'S FIRST JOB
At the age of 15, Kevin had a paper route. Kevin's boss at the time was taking money from a foreign publication and Kevin knew it. Kevin told others at his paper about the boss but then being the coward that he is later said he was just joking.

KEVIN GETS MARRIED
But later cheated on her so who gives a shit about this part? The guy can't even be faithful to his wife so why should he be trusted by voters who he doesn't even know?!
2007
KEVIN ENTERS POLITICS
He began his political career as a amateur liar. In time, he would not only become a professional liar but go from making $37,000 a year to close to a million. How? Easy. Accepting money from those out of the country who wanted to own him. And, they succeeded.

This is and always will be Kevin's legacy. He helped create these monsters. He stood by and allowed this to happen. Why? Who gives a shit why? He did it. He allowed it. We don't need to understand why. The man is and always will be a weak coward. Power is more important than family. His family was Trump, and he will never escape that. A liar. A coward. A loser. FIN.

Although Kevin began opposing Trump, as soon as he realized Trump was in charge, Kevin began his loyalty. Anything Trump wanted, Kevin would give. Any lie Trump said, Kevin would back him up...and if he couldn't back him up, Kevin would avoid the press. Our little coward is a big boy now.
